Tumescent Liposuction

Tumescent Liposuction is not a technique of Liposuction but a method of local anesthesia for

Liposuction surgery.

Tumescent Liposuction is now recognized world wide as the technique permitting, the greatest safety, the most rapid recovery, the least pain and the best aesthetic results.

It also allows the removal of large amounts of fat with virtually no blood loss.

Tumescent Liposuction involves injecting prior to the procedure a solution of Lignocaine (local anesthesia), Adrenaline(to minimal blood loss) and buffered saline into the areas to be treated.

The Tumescent fluid helps to create space between the under lying muscle and the over lying fatty tissue facilitating easier removal of the latter.

Selston Cosmetic Clinic uses the Tumescent anesthesia for both of the Liposuctions procedures we offer:

Vaser Liposelection Liposuction and

Laser Lipolysis (Advanced SmartLipo).
