The ideal candidates for liposuction surgery should be:

■ Over 18 .

■ Be in good health, free from heart disease, lung disease, circulatory problems as they are considered to be relative contra- indications to having liposuction surgery due to the associated greater risk.

■ They should have localized fat deposits that cannot be removed by diet or exercise

■ They wish to gain a more aesthetic pleasing body shape after liposuction surgery.

■ They should also have realistic expectations.
