A New Treatment at
Selston Cosmetic Clinic for fine, blonde, white, downy and grey hair ... Alkaline Hair Wash
The Danné Montague King Alkaline Wash system is a fabulous treatment designed to reduce fine, blonde, white, downy hair on the face and other parts of the body. This type of hair cannot be treated using electrolysis or laser hair removal.
What Is Alkaline Wash?
Alkaline wash is an alkaline powder, which is mixed into a paste and applied onto your skin by our Nurses for approximately 4-5 minutes.

How Does It Work?
This treatment works by dissolving part of the underlying hair follicle beneath the skin. This causing release of the hair giving smooth, hair free skin immediately after treatment.

Is it permanent?
Alkaline Wash is most effective when treating fine, blonde, white, grey, downy hair. It is most suitable for the face and upper lip areas where there is often a dense growth of fine hair, which is usually resistive to treatments by standard hair removal methods.
After the first treatment the hair will normally grow back at its normal rate, but as treatments progress the re-growth will become slower and slower. The hair does not grow back any coarser after Alkaline Hair Wash Treatment
How many treatments are needed?
Although it is hard to predict, we have found that after only 2-3 treatments the growth may be drastically reduced. Most clients are happy with the improvement that they obtain. Also you can continue with the treatments if you wish for total clearance.
Are There Any Side Effects?
The treatment is pain free. In some cases the skin can become warm and red, but this is normal and will resolve after a short period of time. Alkaline Hair Wash is a safe treatment for the removal of fine downy hair, on the face and arms.
